[Objective]1. To explore the expression of AKT1,Survivin and casepase-3 protein in colorectal adenocarcinoma and its signifinance .2. To explore the difference of expression of AKT1,Survivin and casepase-3 between colorectal adenocarcinoma with schistosomiasis and without schistosomiasis,in order to detect if schistosomiasis has effect on colorectal adenocarcinoma.[Methods]Immunohistochemical S-P staining method was adopted to research the expression of AKT1,Survivin and caspase-3 in 75 cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma with schistosomiasis or without schistosomiasis, and in 40 cases of normal colorectal mucosa with schistosomiasis or without schistosomiasis. we analyzed the relationship of these cases with their clinicopathologic characteristics, and the relationship among these three factors.[Results]1. The difference of positive expression of AKT1 and Survivin was significant between colorectal adenocarcinoma and normal colorectal mucosa(P<0.01,P<0.01);The difference of positive rate of caspase-3 was not significant between colorectal adenocarcinoma and normal colorectal mucosa(P>0.05);The positive expression of Survivin did appear to relate to histological differentiation and survival time(P<0.05).There was a significant positive correlation between AKT1 and Survivin, which suggested that they promoted the development of colorectal adenocarcinoma together. but there was no correlation between AKT1 and caspase-3,between Survivin and caspase-3.2. The difference of positive expression of AKT1,Survivin and casepase-3 was not significant between colorectal adenocarcinoma with schistosomiasis and without schisstosomiasis(P>0.05).[Conclusion]There is high positive expression of AKT1 and Survivin, and low positive expression of caspase-3, which suggests that these factors are concerned with the development and progression of colorectal adenocarcinoma. Survivin is ralated to histological differentiation and survival time, hence it may be contributed to prognostic judgment. The expression of AKT1,Survivin and casepase-3 between colorectal adenocarcinoma with schistosomiasis and without schistosomiasis has no obvious variation proves that schistosomiasis has no evident effect on the progression of colorectal adenocarcinoma.
