Objective:To compare testing the level of (1-3)-β-D-glucan in plasma and traditional fungus culture among the patients with cancer chemotherapy by invasive fungal infection, so as to evaluating the value of testing the level of (1-3)-β-D-glucan in plasma among the patients with cancer chemotherapy by invasive fungal infection. Search for the early detection technology for the cancer chemotherapy by invasive fungal infection. Methods:124 patients who were suspected to deep mycosis detected by testing the level of (1-3)-β-D-glucan in plasma and traditional fungus culture, and the statistical analysis was carried out. Results:The positive rate of testing the level of (1-3)-β-D-glucan in plasma was 52.4%, The positive rate of traditional fungus culture was 44.3% in 124 patients who were suspected to deep mycosis. Two methods were statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The sensitivity of the testing the level of (1-3)-β-D-glucan in plasma was 81.8%, the specificity of it was 71.0%, the positive likelihood of it was2.83, the feminine likelihood of it was0.25. Conclusion:The level of(1-3)-β-D-glucan in plasma could be used to diagnose the patients with cancer chemotherapy by invasive fungal infection. What's more, this new testing method has the characteristics of high sensitivity, specificity, application.
