Objective:To research the relationship between serum adiponectin (APN), microalbuminuria and macroangiopathy in type 2 diabetes mellitus, and discusses the influencing factors of them. Methods:Serum adiponectin, blood sugar, blood fat and glycated hemoglobin, microalbuminuria were detected and blood pressure, electrocardiogram, UCG,lower limb artery color doppler ultrasound, carotid artery ultrasound, head CT were examined in 118 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The laboratory reports and examinational results combined with clinical performance,to clear hypertension, cardiovascular angiopthy, cerebrovascular angiopathy and lower limb arteriosclerosis or atheromatous plaque formation.According to the abovement, divided the patients into two groups, groupl:50 cases with macroangiopathy and group2:68 cases without macroangiopathy.Control group was made up of 70 cases of healthy people.Results:1.Serum adiponectin (APN) level in control group was higher than in type 2 diabetes mellitus group, and APN level in group2 is higher than in group 1.Differences of comparison between groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).MAU,by contrast, differences also had statistically significance(P<0.01).2.Pearson correlation analysis displayed that serum APN level has positive correlation with high-density lipoprotein (HDL)(P<0.05),and negative correlation with MAU,body mass index (BMI),fasting blood sugar (FBG),totalcholesterol (TC),low-density lipoprotein (LDL),glycated hemoglobin (HbAlc),2-hr blood sugar (2hPBG)(P<0.05).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the low-density lipoprotein (LDL), fasting blood sugar (FBG) are independent risk factors of serum APN.3.Pearson correlation analysis displayed that MAU has negative correlation with serum APN(P<0.05),and positive correlation with BMI,SBP,FBG,TC,TG, HbA1c,2hPBG(P<0.05).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that 2hPBG,BMI, HbA1c are independent risk factors of MAU.4.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that diabetic angiopathy is related with APN, MAU, FBG,2hPBG,LDL,TG,SBP. Conclusion:Adiponectin, microalbuminuria may relate with the occurrence and development of type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic angiopathy. They can be regarded as reference indexes for early diagnosis of diabetic angiopathy and predicted its prognostic. Conventional detection of adiponectin, microalbuminuria and blood sugar, blood fat, which will be conducive to prevention and intervention of future risk in type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic angiopathy.
