Expression Of CK-19 At Laryngeal Carcinoma Of Type Supraglottic And Its Correlation Research With Deep Incursion Of Cancer

Objective:39 cases with Laryngeal Carcinoma of type supraglottic cancer were performedwith pathology observation and study of cytokeratin expression. Exploring the safe surgicaldeepness margins of Laryngeal Carcinoma of type supraglottic can provide evidence for clinicaltreatment.Method:Thirty-nine Laryngeal Carcinoma of type supraglottic cancer were examined forthe expression level of cytokeratin-19 by IHC method ( PV6001) and RT-PCR was employed tomeasure the expression of cytokeratin-19 mRNAResults:(1)For Laryngeal Carcinoma of type supraglottic with T1-T2 staging,there was asignificant different of CK-19 expression between tumor and surgical margin at 0.2cm,0.5cm,1.0cm.Yet there was no significant between 0.2cm,0.5cm and 1.0cm. (2)For Carcinoma of typesupraglottic with T3 staging,there was a significant difference of CK-19 expression betweentumor and 0.5cm,0.2cm and 0.5cm.Yet there was no significant difference between tumor and0.2cm,0.5cm and 1.0cm. (3) For Laryngeal Carcinoma of type supraglottic with T4 staging,there was a significant difference of CK-19 expression between tumor and 1.0cm,and there wasa significant difference of between 0.5cm and 1.0cm. Yet there was no significant differencebetween tumor,0.2cm and 0.5cm.Conclusion:The safe surgical deepness margins of Laryngeal Carcinoma of type supraglotticis different with different staging,the safe surgical deepness margins of T1-T2 staging is at least0.2cm,the safe surgical deepness margins of T3 staging is at least 0.5cm,yet 0.5cm of surgicaldeepness is not safe for T4 staging,the safe surgical deepness margins of T4 staging is between0.5cm and 1cm.
