Objectives:The respiratory infection is one of commonest diseases happened in childhood and pneumonia is the main cause for most children who are hopistallized which threatens children's health. Mycoplasma Pneumoniae (MP) is one of the main pathogens of the respiratory infection of children, mainly causing the inflammation of the lower respiratory tract which results in Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia (MPP) with the symptoms of pyrexia, cough and gasp and may cause many symptoms including myocarditis, encephalitis and the lesion of digestive system, urinary system and skin and even threat to life. The objectives of this thesis are to discuss the clinical features of the MPP in children and the lesion of organs other than the lung and the prognosis, meanwhile arguing its epidemic patterns in order to provide the basic information of feasible prevention and cure methods. Methods: Reviewing the clinical datas and the auxiliary examination files of 952 Pneumonia patients of which there are 453 MPP in the Forth Sector of the Department of Paediatrics of the First Hospital of Jinlin University, the periphery venous blood were collected from the patients on the second morning after they were hospitalized, using the complement fixation test(CFT) to detect blood-serum specific antibody,at the same time, complete blood count(CBC), CRP, myocardial enzymes, hepatic function and chest roentgenogram would be detected, and electrokardiogram, electroencephalogram, chest CT, color Doppler ultrasonography were detected selectively according to different patients respectively. The results of all the above detections and the general information including the time of the date of hospitalization, age, gender and the clinical symptoms, objective sign, treatment plan, turnover and prognosis of every patient were recorded and on which a comprehensive analysis was carried out. As to statistical treatment, a software package of SPSS Statistics 19 was utilized and P<0.05 was regarded as of statistical significance. Results: 1. The incidence rate of MPP of the year of 2010 was 47.6% and in the spring it is 30.4%, summer 45.9%, fall 58.0% and winter 49.7% respectively. And among which the comparative difference between spring and fall has statistical significance and that between summer and fall has as well while the comparative value (p) between fall and winter exceeds 0.05, so there is no statistical significance for that difference which instruct that in fall and winter the MPP in children attacks at a higher incidence rate. 2. The age of the patients of this teem range from 0.1 to 14 years old and the average age is 3.22±1.03 years old.And the pacients at the age of 7 to 10 years old account for 79.5%. Comparing the incidence rate of this with those of other three teems, the difference has statistical significance. 3. In this teem, the male patients are 239 and femal 214 and the incidence rate are 42.2% and 55.6% respectively. The difference between those in male and femal has statistical significance. The rate of incidence in female is higher than that in male. 4. There are 213 MPP patients in this teem caught concurrent disease outside of lung accounting for 47.0% and there are 47 of which caught cardiovascular diseases and 68 digestive system diseases, 30 urinary system diseases, 29 lesion of skin and 39 other diseases. Among which most of the infants caught cardiovascular diseases while the elder children digestive system diseases mainly. And the proportion of the elder children caught concurrent disease outside of lung is higher than that of the infants. 5. Every patient in this teem are treated with anti-infection therapy using Azithromvcin, for those infected with mixed bacterial infections significantly the Cephalosporin antibiotics and others broad-spectrum antibiotic are used and the medicine for anti-fungus are added in the therapy process for those infected with mixed fungus infection. The therapy of bronchofibroscope is utilized for those patients of pulmonary closure and those of pneumonia with big nidus. There were 447 of the patients are improved or cured and are discharged from hospital without sequela and 6 failed..Conclusions: 1. The incidence rate of MPP in our department was 47.6%. 2. There are different clinical manifestations, changes in chest roentgenogram and concurrent disease outside of lung in children infected with MPP at different ages. The utilization of macrolides medicine may bring a relatively satisfactory result. 3. The therapy of bronchofibroscope is relatively effective to pneumonia with big nidus and may shorten the course of disease if utilized in the early stage.
