objective:Observe Yuxianling Granula and Anti-epileptic drugs'clinical effects in curing adult intractable epilepsy. Discuss the effects of the Yuxianling Granula in both treatment and the life of the patient.Methods:Choose 62 available cases according to the diagnosis,and divide them into two groups under the Doll's clinical random table method.One group is the treatment group (Integrated Chinese and western medicine group),and the other is comparative group (western medicine group).Each group has 31 cases.The treatment group uses Yuxianling Granula and anti-epileptic drugs,and the comparative group uses only anti-epileptic drugs.Both courses of the treatments are three months.Keep the minutes of clinical effects of the patient before and after they use pills.In the end, evaluate the clinical effects of the two group according to the Chinese medicine treatment of epilepsy evaluation standard,and compare the morbidity,EEG abnormal degree,table of intractable epilepsy and table of the quality of life.Use the rate of drug reservation to evaluate the clinical effects and the safety of the Yuxianling Granula.Result:After three months treatment,the treatment group clinical effect better than the comparative group has greet sense in statistics(P<0.05).After three months treatment, the table of intractable epilepsy and table of the quality of life of treatment before and the after has greet sense in statistics(P<0.01).After three months treatment,the comparison of the table of intractable epilepsy,table of the quality of life and the EEG abnormal degree has greet sense in statistics(P<0.05), the treatment group clinical effect better than the comparative group.Treatment after 3 months,the retention rate of combination Yuxianling Granula and Anti-epileptic drugs efficacy and good safety.Conclusion:Yuxianling Granula and Anti-epileptic drugs can help the patient of refractory intractable epilepsy,improve the EEG,frequency,the score table of intractable epilepsy,TCM symptoms,and also improve the quality of the life of the patient. Conclusion:Yuxianling Granula is effective and safe as adjunctive therapy for refractory epilepsy.
