| Objective:This topic is under the guidance of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, through the system of clinical trials, which will be based on the clinical efficacy of the Traditional Chinese Medicine combined with acupuncture treatment in blood stasis type of primary Dysmenorrhea, in order to improve the method of the treatment in this type of patients, relieve their pain, and promote their health, along with the efficiency and quality of their life.Method:The 90 eligible patients were randomly divided into three groups: Chinese medicine, Acupuncture, and Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture; each group 30 cases. Using the Chinese Medicine "Gexiazhuyutang", acupuncture, and Gexiazhuyutang combined with acupuncture respectively, for 3 courses. Evaluated with the criteria of Dysmenorrhea score points charter. Evaluation includes:age and course of disease, status of the three groups before treatment, treatment for 3 courses, and 3 months after treatment of dysmenorrheal, comparing scores and dividing the total score. The Dysmenorrhea score points charter was only recorded by the specialist medical staff.Results:Comparison within the age and the severity of the disease between the Chinese medicine group, the acupuncture group, and the Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture group, showed no statistical significance (P>0.05) for the diagnostic standards. Comparison within the dysmenorrhea score and total score points through the three groups of patients, respectively, showed no significant difference (P> 0.05). After three courses of treatment, in the group using Chinese medicine was found:0 case recovered,0 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were effective,13 cases with no effect, the total effective rate for this group was 56.67%; in the acupuncture group:0 case recovered,0 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were effective,13 cases with no effect, the total effective rate for this group was 56.67%; in the group using Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture:12 cases recovered, 0 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were effective,1 cases with no effect, the total effective rate for this group was 96.67%. After the statistical testing, no significant difference in efficacy was found in the three groups (P>0.05). Showing that the three group of patients had the exact effectiveness. After treatment, three group of dysmenorrhea score and total scores were compared with those before treatment and found that the scores of each group were significantly lower than before treatment, especially in the group using Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture, where there was a significant improvement, and also showing that using "Gexiazhuyutang" combined with acupuncture can ease the pain. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) over the other two groups of patients.Conclusion:The results suggest that:both parties using Gexiazhuyutang, acupuncture or a combination treatment of dysmenorrhea have a clear effect. It can effectively relieve pain and improve health, the efficiency and quality of women's life. But the use of Gexiazhuyutang combined with acupuncture is better than the other two groups. Indicating that the use of Gexiazhuyutang combined with acupuncture has more effective mitigating the pain caused by the blood stasis type of primary dysmenorrhea. |
