Clinical Study Of HuoXueZhuYu Decoction For Preventing Deep Vein Thrombosis After Total Artificial Hip Replacement

ObjectivesTo observe the clinical effect of preventing from deep vein thrombosis (DVT) with HuoXueZhuYu decoction after total artificial hip replacement (THR), the purpose is to explore a methods of Chinese medicine preventing form DVT after total artificial hip replacement.Methods52 cases undergoing THR were collected from the orthopedic department of Guangdong province hospital of TCM, they were randomized divided into two Groups, the experiment groups who were given HuoXueZhuYu Decoction for pre-vention of DVT and control Group who were given Rivaroxaban. To observe the changes of two groups patients in clinical symptom, sign and color Doppler flow imaging and to compare the change of Blood routine examination, Coagula-tion function, D-dimer, Volume of drainage Circumference of lowerlimbs during treatment, and to observe the difference of incidence with DVT in each group.Result1. In the two groups, Red blood cell count, Hemoglobin concentration, HematoCrit, Platelet count, Prothrombin time, Activated partial thrombopla-stin time, Fibrinogen and D-dimer was significant difference form those before operation(P<0.05); 2. In the treated group, the values of Platelet count and D-dimer indice detected in the 7th day, also as Fibrinogen in the 3th day after operation was lower than those in the control group at the same day after operation (P<0.05); 3. The Volume of drainage between these two groups had no significant difference after operation (P>0.05); 4. HuoXueZhuYu decoction could relieve the clinical symptoms and signs obviously; 5,There was no significant difference incidence of DVT in two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionHuoXueZhuYu decoction, as TaoHongSiWu decoction with DanShen injection, can ameliorate the hypercoagulable state of blood, raise blood flow rate of femoral vein, eliminate of swelling, so as to prevent DVT after THR, it is efficient and safe to use in preventing DVT after THR.
