Objeetive: To explore the relationship between tithyroid autoantibodies and recurrent spontaneous miscarriages for the disease diagnosis and prevention. Methods: Totally 100 non-pregnant women with a history of RSA were selected as stuty group who presented to inheritance clinic from February 2010 to December 2010, and 100 healthy women with a normal pregnant history as control group. Two groups'serum thyroglobulin antibodies and thyroperoxidase antibodies were tested by chemitum inescence immunoassay. The data were analyzed by univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results:1. Tithyroid autoantibodies, thyroglobulin antibodies and thyroperoxidase antibodies were identified 22%, 16% and 18% respectively in case group, compared with 10%, 5% and 6% those of control group. the positive rates of tithyroid autoantibodies, thyroglobulin antibodies and thyroperoxidase antibodies in case group were higher than those of control group (P<0.05). Using multiple logistic regression analysis, thyroperoxidase antibodies positive rate was still statistically significant (P=0.013,OR=3.439).2. In case group, the mean levels of thyroglobulin antibodies and thyroperoxidase antibodies were higher than those of control group after the quantitate data were converted to logarithms. The mean levels of thyroglobulin antibodies were not statistically significant, while the mean levels of thyroperoxidase antibodies was statistically significant (P=0.006).3. In case group, after some factors were removed such as chromosome abnormality, uterus abnormal, chlamydia and mycoplasma infection, TORCH infection, endocrine abnormality, the positive expression of anticardiolipin antibody and other autoimmune antibodies and so on, the positive rates of tithyroid autoantibodies, thyroglobulin antibodies and thyroperoxidase antibodies rised to 29.03%, 19.53% and 24.19% respectively, these antibodies were higher than those of controls (P<0.01). Using multiple logistic regression analysis , thyroperoxidase antibodies positive rate was still statistically significant (P=0.002,OR =5.000).4. The differences were no significance if they had one of causes which include chromosome abnormality, uterus abnormal, chlamydia and mycoplasma infection, TORCH infection, endocrine abnormality, anticardiolipin antibody and other autoimmune antibodies positive expression.5. In case group, whether two pregnancy losses, three or more consecutive pregnancy losses; primary RSA and secondary RSA; ealy RSA and late RSA; the positive rates of tithyroid autoantibodies, hyroperoxidase antibodies and hyroperoxidase antibodies were no statistically significance.6. In case group, whether tithyroid autoantibodies were positive or not, the positive rates of anticardiolipin antibody, antisemen antibody and endometrium antibody were not statistically significant.7. The age was accordance whether the tithyroid autoantibodies were positive or not. The differences were not statistically significant.Conclusion:1. There is a significant correlation between tithyroid autoantibodies and RSA, the positive rates of tithyroid autoantibodies, thyroglobulin antibodies and thyroperoxidase antibodies are higher significantly, quantitate level of thyroperoxidase antibodies is higher, and tithyroid autoantibody positive is a independent risk factor.2. There are no relationship between tithyroid autoantibody and the other factors such as abnormal thyroid function, maternal age, abortion number, the period of abortion, whether normal labor in RSA or not and so on . There are also no relationship between antithyroid antibody, anticardiolipin antibody, antisemen antibody and endometrium antibody.
