Objective:To establish stable animal models of acute superior mesenteric vein thrombosis in rabbits,explore early blood biochemical diagnostic indices and observe its pathological changes.Methods:A total number of 64 New Zealand big rabbits were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. . The model was established by methods of ligating the vein,blocking blood flow,injurying the vascular wall and activating the coagulation factor. And we respectively tested hematology indicators of instestine fatty acid binding protein(IFABP),diamine oxidase(DAO) ,CK-MB and D-dimer. and the pathologic changes were observed during different periods.Results: Compared with control group, serum IFABP,DAO,CK-MB andD-dimer of rabbits in experimental group were significantly increased (P<0.01). Indicator comparison in different periods: IFABP significantly increased to 737.5±56.2 ng/ml in 30 minutes after setting of the model, reached the peak of 1800.1±85.5 ng/ml in 120 minutes, and remained 1414.1±92.3ng/ml in 4 hours after operation (P<0.01); DAO significantly increased to 294.5±18.3U/ml in 30 minutes after setting of the model, increased to 356.1±33.6U/ml in 60 minutes, increased to 457.5±38.5U/ml in 120 minutes, and increased to 592.7±39.7U/ml in 4 hours after operation (P<0.01); CK-MB and D-dimer were continuously increasing. Pathology observation:after the Establishment of model,there is obvious thrombosis formation in the vascular,and the epithelial cells of intestinal go from edema to necrosis and falling off.Vascular endothelial cells collapse and fall off,until the matrix under vascular endothelial expose.Conclusion:The model can be established successfully in this exper- iment,its Pathological changes comply with clinical.This model is stable and reli- able. As a ideal biological indicator, IFABP and DAO can be adopted for early diagnosis of acute superior mesenteric vein thrombosis.
