Objective:To investigate the risk factors associated with the C-IBS, in order to direct treatment and prevent the C-IBS. Methods A questionnaire survey conducted among 100 patient who final diagnosis C-IBS in Xinjiang Medical University and 100 normal people when it was september,2010 to january,2011. A questionnaire contain common information, life state and depression scale. Use 1:1 case control study. Statistical analysis was performed by SPSS 17.0 software. Result Constipation family history (RR=6.493), timing defecation (RR=0.120) and psychological factor (depression) (RR=2.195) were independently associated with C-IBS (P<0.05). Constipation family history and psychological factor (depression) were risk factors of the C-IBS. Timing defecation (RR=0.120) was protection factor. Conclusion The disease incidence of the C-IBS was high. The life style and mental status can effect it. So we can improve life style and intervension mental status in order to prevent and relief the C-IBS symptoms.
