Clinical Efficacy Of Bifidobacteria Combined With Itopride In The Treatment Of Constipation-type Irritable Bowel Syndrome

AIM: Inquiry the clinical curative effect in slow dynamic constipation type of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) with Bifid Triple bacteria combine with itopride and the clinical curative effect of single itopride treat with slow dynamic constipation type irritable bowel syndrome. Evaluation the curative effect and clinical significance of the treatment with Bifid Triple bacteria preparation combined with itopride in slow dynamic constipation type of irritable bowel syndrome.METHODS: Select 136 patients from Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine combined with hospital of Zibo City and the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University in August 2013 ~ September 2014 with slow dynamic constipation type of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-C). According to different treatment, the patients are divided to the control group(57 cases) and test group(79 cases). In the control group treat with single itopride, the experimental group treat with itopride combine with Bifid Triple bacteria. Recorded before treatment, 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment according to defecation frequency, stool(Bristol), difficulty degree of defecation,defecation time and abdominal pain or bloating situation.RESULTS: After 2 weeks of the experiment the control group and the experimental group efficiency respectively 39.3% and 48.1%. There is no significant difference between the control group and the experimental group(c2=1.497, P>0.05). After 4weeks of treatment, the control group and the experimental group efficiency respectively42.9% and 60.8%, respectively. There is significant difference between the control group and the experimental group(c2=4.220, P<0.05). After 8 weeks of treatment, the control group and the experimental group efficiency respectively 57.1% and 73.4%,respectively. It is significant difference between the control group and the experimental group(c2=3.906, P<0.05). The experimental group is divided according to age, sex,duration of disease. According to age, the eld or equal to 60 years old patients' efficient are 65.1%; younger than 60 years old patients' efficiency are 83,3%; there is no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05). According to the gender of the group, the male effective rate is 72.5%; the female effective rate is 75%; there is no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05). According to the course of disease group, the course ofdisease more than or equal to 1 years in patients with an effective rate is 70.2; the effective rate is 78.1% in patients who with disease less than 1 years; the difference is not statistically significant(P>0.05). With the extension of treatment time, control group and treatment in the experimental group effective rate were significantly improved, the control group 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and efficiency respectively 39.3%, 42.9%,57.1%, the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05). The experiment group for 2weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, efficiency were 48.1%, 60.8% and 73.4%, the difference is statistically significant(P <0.05).CONCLUSION: Test results show that the effective rate of the treatment is no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group after 2 weeks treat with the drug. After 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment with drug in the experimental,the experiment group effective rate is significantly higher than that of the control group,indicating that added with Bifid Triple Viable Bacteria tablets in the treatment of slow dynamic constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-C) 4 weeks the efficiency is higher than that of the simple application of itopride in the treatment.Itopride combined with Bifid Triple Viable Bacteria tablets preparation for treating IBS-C,can obtain good effect, worthy for promotion.
