Objective:Quantitative measurement mechanical parameters were perfermed, using VVI technology, on Type 2 Diabetic patient's dorsalis pedis arterial. Found a new technology, which could early discover and evaluation the vessel's elasticity was reduced, even before the vessel's structure was damaged. Helping clinic detection the vessel's elasticity function for the type 2 diabetic patients.Methods:1. Sixty patients were selected. Forty patients with Type 2 Diabetic were divided into 2 groups, the DN(n=20), DM(n=20) and a control group (n=20).2. General condition of patients recorded:age, pulse pressure, blood suger, heart rate,BMI,FPG,HbAlc,UAL quantiation/Cr, and biochemical indicator such as TG, TC, LDL were included too.3. The dorsalis pedis arterial wall motion in the NC group, DM group, DN group were examined with VVI. The end-systolic diameter(Ds), intima-media thickness (IMT), maximum strain (Smax), maximum strain rate (SRmax) of the common dorsalis pedis arterial wall were measured.4. Observe the data of the common dorsalis pedis arterial wall motion, and appraise the flexibility of the dorsalis pedis arterial wall.Results:1.Comparing with the control group inner membrane, the two dimension vector diagram of Type 2 Diabetic inner membrane movement was chaos and the color anatomic M-mode also showed this obvious synchronized strain and strain rate. Curve graph shown variation, no regular pattern.2. The Smax and SRmax had no significant difference in every dorsalis pedis arterial walls in the NC group,DM-NA group,DM-MA group (p>0.05). 3. The Smax and SRmax of corresponding segment had significant differences in NC group, DM-NA group,DM-MA group, NC group>DM-NA group(p<0.05), NC group>DM-MA group(p<0.01).Conclusion:The Smax and SRmax of the type 2 diabetic dorsalis pedis arterial wall group are lower than the control group.ⅤⅥis an effective technique for evaluating the Smax and SRmax of the dorsalis pedis arterial wall. So we should detection the vessel's elasticity function for the type 2 diabetic patients, and treat with them, improve its bad consequence.
