TCM Symptom Differentiation Patterns Of 127 Patients With Intracranial Tumor

ObjectiveTo study the TCM symptom differentiation patterns of patients with intracranial tumor.MethodsThe symptoms of 127 patients(pts)with intracranial tumor disease were collected, and the data were analyzed by principal components and Hierarchical cluster statistics(SPSS17 software).ResultsThe symptom differentiation patterns of pts with intracranial tumor disease could be attributed into four groups:Spleen and kidney Yang deficiency accompanied with blood and DU meridian stasis (78 cases), The wind and phlegm up to trouble (18 cases), Liver and kidney Yin deficiency accompanied with blood stasis (22 cases), Phlegm and heat stasis (9 cases)。The symptom differentiation patterns of the pts ater operation could be attributed into two groups:Spleen Qi deficiency with phlegm and dampness stasis (25 cases), Qi depressed and blood stasis (7 cases)。ConclusionSymptom differentiation of the intracranial tumor diseases revealed TCM characteristic of the intracranial tumor diseases. TCM Symptom Differentiation Patterns really has its scientific feature and rules that can be followed. The principal components and Hierarchical cluster statistics for symptom ifferentiation patterns were good way to classify the TCM.
