Clinical Analysis Of Yinao'an Capsule In Concomitant Therapy For Treating Epilepsy

ObjectivesTo objectively assess the clinical efficacy of Yinao'an capsule in concomitant therapy for treating epilepsy for 4 months and its untoward effect.MethodsWill be from November 2009 to March 2011 in the Guangdong Provincial Hospital inpatient department or outpatient Eplipsy included 57 patients anterior-posterior self-controlled study method, patients were surveyed the situation of the disease for 3 months before the treatment and observed after treatment for 14 days, lmonth,2months, and 4 months and accompanied by criterion of medicine for epilepsy therapeutical effect, and the establishment of a database, using rank-sum test, to analysis of statistical data. Oral dose of Yinao'an capsule was 4 capsules per time,3 times a day, which was based on precisely selected western medicine in the treatment.ResultThe general clinical efficacy of Yinao'an capsule in concomitant therapy in treatment was 96.5% in treating all types of epilepsy cases. In these 57 cases,40 cases (70.2%) were cured perfectly,15 cases (26.3%) were cured effectively, and 2 cases (3.5%) were failed. The difference of efficacy has statistical significance(P<0.05).ConclusionThe clinical efficacy of Yinao'an capsule in concomitant therapy for treating epilepsy is an effective way in treating all kinds of epilepsy cases in our neurosurgery inpatient and outpatient department.
