Objective:To explore the etiology, pathogenesis, differentiation of syndromes and the laws of treatment for hypomenorrhea.Method:Collecting the literatures published in biomedicine periodical 1995.1 to 2010.12, related clinical research of TCM on hypomenorrhea. The literatures accord with research standard that induction on the syndrome's type, therapeutic method and medication of TCM, and data statistical analysis with EXCEL.1. The literatures carry on the classification.2. Making the form of case number, syndrome's type of TCM, therapeutic method and medicine in basic prescription.3. Calculating with the percentage of TCM syndrome type and therapeutic method in all case, and making the form.4. Calculating out the usage frequency of Chinese herbs in different therapeutic method, arrangement the usage frequency with high low sequence, making the form for the nature and flavor and the channel tropism of the top 12 Chinese herbs, analysis on the treatment mechanism of TCM and the modern pharmacological research with the top 12 Chinese herbs.Results:By using computer technology, a database of the Common Syndromes of TCM was founded. There'reâ‘ Syndrome of Kidney Deficiency,â‘¡Syndrome of Blood Stasis,â‘¢Syndrome of Blood Deficiency,â‘£Syndrome of Dampness Phlegm and other Syndrome in proper order. They are 58.54%,15.28%,10.19%,6.73%,8.86% separately. The common therapeutic methods to treat hypomenorrhea areâ‘ Nify the kidney to arrest spontaneous emission, nourishing blood for regulating menstruation;â‘¡ctivating blood and resolving stasis, regulating Qi flowing for menstruation;â‘¢Enrich the blood and tonify the Qi to regulate menstruation;â‘£Drying dampness and resolving phlegm to regulate menstruation. The Herbs of the main Syndromes are:â‘ Syndrome of Kidney Deficiency:Angelica Sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Cuscuta Chinensis, Barbary wolfberry fruit, Cornus Officinalis, Debark peony root, Dioscorea Opposita, Eucommia Ulmoides, Achyranthes Bidentata, Cyperus Rotundus, Ligusticum Chuanxiong, Dipsacus Asper;â‘¡Syndrome of Blood Stasis:Angelica Sinensis, Ligusticum Chuanxiong, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Carthamus Tinctorius, Cyperus Rotundus, Debark peony root, Peach seed, Achyranthes Bidentata, Cuscuta Chinensis, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Spatholobus Suberectus, Dioscorea Opposita;â‘¢Syndrome of Blood Deficiency:Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Angelica Sinensis, Debark peony root, Ligusticum Chuanxiong, Radix Codonopsis, Barbary wolfberry fruit, Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Astragalus Membranaceus, Dioscorea Opposita, Poria Cocos, Placenta Hominis, Cuscuta Chinensis;â‘£Syndrome of Dampness Phlegm: Astragalus Membranaceus, Cyperus Rotundus, Pinellia Ternata, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Poria Cocos, Cuscuta Chinensis, Debark peony root, Radix Rehmanniae, Ligusticum Chuanxiong, Angelica Sinensis, Rhizoma Atractylodis, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae.Conclusion:The main syndromes of hypomenorrhea areâ‘ Syndrome of Kidney Deficiency,â‘¡Syndrome of Blood Stasis,â‘¢Syndrome of Blood Deficiency,â‘£Syndrome of Dampness Phlegm.
