【Objective】: Objective to investigate the effective and safe strategies in treatment of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis.【Methods】:The clinical data of 22 patients diagnosed with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST) from Sep,2004 to Nov,2010 were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were subdivided into mild type and heavy type according to the features of symptoms, signs, lumbar puncture pressure, and imaging date. Patients were separately treated with whole-body anticoagulation and anticoagulation associated with intravenous thrombolysis therapy; all the patients took Warfarin for 6~12 months.【Results】:7 cases of mild type received systemic anticoagulation.4 were cured,2 were improved and 1 were invalided;15 cases of heavy type received systemic anticoagulation and endovascular thrombolysis, 10were cured, 5 were improved.【Conclusion】:It is probable to subdivide CVST into mild types and heavy type according to the features of symptoms,signs,1umbar puncture pressure, and imaging date; individualized therapeutic strategies are proved to be safe and effective in treatment of certain type.
