Nida Gave us a possibility of translation. Translation in essence is also an interpretation process. It is a recreation of fusion of horizons. It suggests that how we understand the people who lived in different time and space. It is particularly prominent in the cultural exchange. For today's Chinese people.the ancientcivilization became strange after the enlightenment thoughts the criticism. But deeply in our minds,we keep the seeds of the ancient thoughts. It provide us a tool to understand the criticism. But reading the text separately is a arbitrary behaviour. If we don't explore the ancient culture,we can not understand the ancients preferably. Therefore we should make a comprehensive exploration work. This work is duty-bound.The modes of understanding in the minds of modern and ancient people are very different, because of the temporal and spatial differences.this situation caused the lines of thought are different. In this paper,we found the misunderstandings which mordens made when the mordens were reading the preface written by Taohongjin in Daguanbencao, then we classified and explained them.We made this work to help us to understand the ancients'minds. In this paper,I explored Taohongjin's thought in TCM field. In this work,I preliminarily read the introduction in Annotation of Materia Medica. In this research I paid attention to know the cultural background, and focused on the misunderstands made by the morden in reading ancient books. The misundetstands appears in the translations. So the article was composed of three parts, In the first,I discussed the meanning of the content which included the understanding of the medicine culture, Taoist culture and so on. In the second part,I mainly discussed the misreading made by the morden when they were reading the introduction in Annotation of Materia Medica.I also analysed the problems in translation. In the third part,I sumed up the experiences in my research and prepared datas for the follow-up study.I learned the misreading made by the modern involved all aspects of the same culture in different times and spaces.I found modern often misunderstood the ancients,we should bring to the forefront, because we could be prone to errors in the thinking starting point. In this paper, I did a preliminary experiment. But this is a complex question because of cultural diversity. This research needs more investigators. We should summarize more data, so we could do a further system analysis.
