The Study On Terms Of Traditional Chinese Material Medica Effect In "compendium Of Materia Medica"

The effect of traditional Chinese materia medica is the core of Science of Chinese Pharmacology. The terms of the effect of traditional Chinese materia medica is important to sucession,application and development of traditional Chinese materia medica. Although some scholar have made some work on it.There are still some questions should be further studied and solved at present. So we should do more study on the terms of the effect of traditional Chinese materia medica."Compendium of Materia Medica" had collected many doctor's experience of using Chinese materia medica before the 17th century. And it have retain some ancient terms of the effect of traditional Chinese materia medica. We can have a total impression by research terms of the effect of traditional Chinese materia medica in the indications of "Compendium of Materia Medica" and give some proposal for the further study.This research had abstracted the terms of the effect of traditional Chinese materia medica in the indications of "Compendium of Materia Medica" and study them. And summarized the characteristics of it. First, its contents is plentiful. Second, there are many means of expression. Third, most of the terms are verb-object construction. Fourth, it exists times'characteristics. Fifth, there is arbitrariness. Sixth, the language is simplicity. This thesis also classified the terms of the effect of traditional Chinese materia medica. In the end, the thesis gives some examples.
