XiangLian Golden Powder Treatment Of Herpes Zoster Clinical Observation

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of treatment of herpes zoster with XiangLian golden power.Methods:70 cases with Herpes Zoster patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(n=35) and control group(n=35). The treatment group were treated with Xianglian golden powder and oral administration drug; The control group were treated with Toxin-Removing Powder and the same oral administration drug. The referral were did when patients were treated after 1,2,3,5,7,10,12,14 days. The changes of symptom and sign of patient were observed. Data of every group were analyzed. If the pain is not cured after 14 days, the patients would be followed up at 30 days after treatment. Whether there is sequelae neuralgia would be observed. The number of patients with Sequelae neuralgia would be recorded.Results:The efficacy of two groups:cure rate of treatment group were 55.88%, total effective rate were 82.35%, total effective rate were 91.18%; cure rate of control group were 48.48%, total effective rate were 72.73%, total effective rate were 87.88%. The treatment group and control group were no significant difference in the total effective rate (P>0.05). The treatment group and control group were with no significant difference in Drug treatment time and situation of sequelae neuralgia (P> 0.05). However, the differences were statistically significant in the time of erythema subsiding, pain relieving, loss of pain and skin lesions points, pain points, total points at 1,3,5,7,10 days after treatment of two groups (P<0.05), and the clinical efficacy of treatment group were better than the control group.Conclusion:XiangLian golden power and Toxin-Removing Powder were efficient for Herpes Zoster. However, the former are more effective than the latter in the skin lesions subsiding, pain relieving, and possesses the clinical value.
