Objectives. Of lesions cleared, bone grafting, reconstruction of porous tantalum rod implantation of the clinical efficacy of osteonecrosis of the femoral head.Methods. From March 2008 to November 2010,a total of 18 patients (20 hips) with osteonecrosis of the femoral head in patients. Hip joint function was assessed by Harris score, the stage of osteonecrosis was according to Association Research Circulation Osseous(ARCO) classification. To do lesions cleared, bone grafting, reconstruction of porous tantalum implants stick. To avoid weight-bearing limb six months after 1, Patients followed up Harris hip score and imaging changes to Harris score and clinical evaluation of femoral head collapse case.3 months to avoid weight-bearing, part of weight-bearing 3 months,1,3,6,12-month outpatient follow-up, Harris hip score and radiographic assessment was performed to all the patients. Survival of the femoral head was calculated with the patients without Total hip arthroplasty(THA).Results. A total of 17 patients (19 hips) patients were followed for an average 21.88±9.92 months (4 to 36 months). The mean preoperative Harris score 51.89±12.42, after an average of 84.89±17.96, Excellent and good rate of 73.68%. The mean preoperative stageⅠ54.00±0.00, after an average of 74.00±0.00, The mean preoperative stageⅡ50.62±12.51 (33~72), after an average of 87.00±18.80 (44~98), The mean preoperative stageⅢ55.00±16.63 (42~79), after an average of 83.5.±20.60 (53~96).The mean preoperative femoral head collapse index of 0.041±0.085, after an average of 0.089±0.108,81.25% excellent and good rate.2 patients (2 hips) stageⅡin patients with THA. Survival rate of femoral head 78.95%(15/19).Conclusions. Lesions cleared, bone grafting, reconstruction of porous tantalum rod implantation of osteonecrosis of the femoral head has a good recent mid-term clinical efficacy.
