| ObjectiveTo explore the clinical use and effection of the porous metal tantalum rod in treatment of the osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH). MethodThe clinical data of 15 patients'clinical data were studied retrospectively from September 2008 at our hospital. In accordance with the International Bone Cycle Research Council (Association Research Circulation Osseous, ARCO) classification of ONFH disease stage I, II phase patients; application of porous tantalum rod in treatment of early ONFH patients 15 patients (15 hips), left seven hip, right hip 8.
