Objective:The Purpose of this study is to investigate the expression of cyclinGl and p53 in tumor of kidney, and investigate the possible relationship between them. Methods:we collected paraffin embedded biopsy samples of renal tumor tissue in about 50 patients who underwent radical excision in the cancer hospital of hebei university from December 2009 to januaray 2011 (all case have complete clinical information and no history of medicine treatment),we also collected paraffin biopsy samples of nomal tissues being cutted of other reason in surgery. the expression of cyclinGl and p53 were detected by immunohistochemical SP method, the correlation of cyclinGl and p53 were perform by SPSS 13.0 statistical software.Result:1 the positive rate of CyclinG1 was significantly higher in the cancer tissue (51/52)98.1% than that in the normal tissue(41/55)74.5%, the expression of CyclinGl in the cancer tissue not correlation with age, stage and gender.2 the positive rate of p53 was higher in the cancer tissue (39/52 75%)than that in the nomal tissue(25/55 45.5%)(P=0.002<0.05,the higher expression of P53 in the cancer tissue was not correlated with age,gender,stage(p>0.05).3.High expression of cyclinGl and p53 is positive correlated (r=0.400 p=0.505) in the kidney cancer. Conclusion:The expression of cyclinGl and P53 in kidney cancer are higher than nomal Kidney, and they are positively correlated;the high expression of cyclinGl and p53 does not correlate with age, gender and stage.
