| Objective: In vitro experiment ,the study is on basic principle of splice to evaluate the influence of different dentin adhesives on bond strengths of snaggletooth and the difference between repairing the broken tooth directly by resin which is for guiding clinical practice and improving clinical practice by the data of the shear bond strengths based.Method: In the first three months of the experiment, complete, non-decay, non-cracked and well-developed 60 human premolars were collected from Stomatological Department, Hebei Medical University Second Affiliated Hospital. After the elimination and clearance of the periodontal ligament, odontolith and other appendages by ultrasonic wave, we reserve them in - 20℃formaldehyde solution.Next, chilling the prepared molars by plenty spray, and then eliminate the enamel on the teeth buccolingual plane surface and the three other surfaces where each cross sectional area is 3*3 mm~2 by a paralleling to axis of tooth quick diamond bur. With plenty spray, vertically cut the tooth into crown and root two parts at one third of the middle and neck of tooth with low speed carborundumdisc. Then, steeping the teeth in 0.5mol/L,pH﹦7.4 EDTA water solution for one minute before clearance by water giant and reservation in 75% alcohol.Randomly divided the molar models into 5 groups, each with 12 teeth, and then splice them strictly as the following steps.Group 1: Clearfil SE Bond and resin fill (control group)Group 2: After processing by total-etch adhesive Prime&Bond NT, start to splice fracture surfaceGroup 3: After processing by acid etching combo adhesive XenoⅢ, start to splice fracture surface Group 4: After processing by Clearfil SE Bond, start to splice fracture surfaceGroup 5: After processing by Clearfil S~3 Bond, start to splice fracture surface. (Experimental group)After the adhesion, place the prepared samples in saline at room temperature for 48 hours. Then, we vertically embed the roots of the teeth in self-curing resin with the adhesive surface barely. Fix the sample in the universal testing machine shear fixture with the speed at 0.5mm/min. By the computer record, compare the shear bond strengths of each group.Applying single factor analysis of variance of five groups'data gets the overall differences. And applying SNK-q method makes a binary comparison between groups. All the above data is collected by the SPSS13.0 statistical software. Inspection standards is to take bilateral alpha = 0.05, P < 0.05 which has statistical significance.Result:In the experience of shear bond strength, we take a single factor analysis and make a overall analysis, takingα=0.05 as the inspection standard, F=65.697, P﹤0.05 tells the statistical different between five group general data. Result of the a binary comparison between groups by SNK-q is: the overall mean differences of each two group has a statistically significant except the 2nd and 5th group withα=0.05 as standard. So, we can conclude that the 1st group has the highest overall mean differences, with 4th, 5th, 2nd, and 3rd following.Conclusion:1. There is a sheer bond strengths difference between dentin adhesive and traditional resin on snaggletooth repair.2. The sheer bond strengths of Clearfil SE Bond is higher than other groups and is statistical significant. And group XenoⅢis also statistical significant but the lowest. Comparison between Clearfil S3 Bond and Prime&Bond NT shows that the sheer bond strengths is improved with no statistical differences. |
