Objective: To evaluate interventional treatment of Budd-Chiari syndrome in the technical points and clinical applications.Methods: From January 2007 to January 2011,28 pattients with BCS were confirmed by ICV angiography, percutaneous teansluminal angioplasty (PTA) or/and stent implant were performed, follow-up, observe the postoperative clinical curative effect.Results: In our cases, IVC puncture and dilation was successfui in 27cases, the achievement rate was 96.4% (27 / 28), the pressure of inferior vena cava decreased from (31.80±2.58) cmH2O to (12.11±1.60) cmH2O(t=24.69,P<0.01);1 case occurred migration of stents. Postoperatively 24 cases were followed-up for 3 months to 46 months and the follow-rate was 77.8%. The recurrence rate was 8.0%; There were no pulmonary embolism and death.Conclusion: Intervention treatment for some types of Budd-Chiari syndrome is a simple, safe and effective therapy,and Good medium and long term result could be achieved.
