Tace Combined With Hifu Versus Tace Alone In The Treatment Of HCC: A META Analysis

Objective To compare the therapeutic effects of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) plus high intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU) to TACE alone for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Methods All data of patients with HCC underwent TACE+HIFU versus TACE were collected from literatures by electronic searching and handwork searching. Meta-analysis that recommended by Cochrane Collaboration was done for the data above, 13 researches enrolled in criteria were included in this study using RevMan 4.2 through fixed-effect model and random model.Results Compared with that of TACE alone, 6-month, 2-, 3-year survival in those underwent TACE+HIFU was statistically higher(=6.21,3.46及3.08,<0.01).Conclusions The prospective efficacy of TACE plus HIFU for HCC which can elevate patients'survival rate is better than that of TACE alone.
