Euonymus fortunei. belongs to Euonymus of Celastraceae plant, the most of which is live in the warm area. There are 111 species in China, and more than 30 species could be treated as Traditional Chinese Medicine. Modern pharmacologic researches found that Euonymus plant has biological activity on Immunosuppressive activity, Anti-tumor promoting effects and cytotoxic activity, Antiviral activity, anti-inflammatory, and so on.Euonymus fortunei., as a plant of Euonymus, has been widely used for various diseases in nationalities area, such as stanchingbleeding,Bruises,Strain of lumber muscles, etc. However, its phytochemical and effective components investigations have been few reported. In order to Study on the chemical constituents in the cane part of Euonymus fortunei, the compounds were isolated by the solvent extraction, silica gel, and reversed-phase silica gel column chromatography and semi-preparative HLPC. The structures were identified by various spectroscopic methods including NMR, MS, IR,UV spectrum etc. 24 compouds were isolated from the EtOH extraction and 21 compouds were elucidated。There are 4 new compounds, COM. 01,02,03,08;8 compounds were obtained for the first time from the genus, COM. 04,05,09,10,12,13,14,15;and COM. 06,07,16,17,18,19 were obtained from the plant for the first time.
