| ObjectiveDiabetic peripheral neuropathy is one of the most common chronic diabetic complications. The clinical features mainly consist of spontaneous pain of arms and legs, abnormal Sensations, numbness and hyperkinesis, functional disorders of bladder and gastroin testinal. DNB(diabetic neurogenic bladder) is the most common one among the features, So, the study on how to diagnosis and treat it early to prevent and treat it effectively, to discover the ideal method to treat it has already become a urgent and important. The research aimed to observe the clinical effects of the combination of Mecobalamin and Metoclopramide in curing DNB.Methods104 patients are all chosen from the hospitalized patients internal secretion branch. There among, 68 females and 36 males, All the patients are to the standard in diagnosing diabetics from WHO in 1985, with the age of 35-65 and the treatment course for more than five years.Measuring the post-voiding residue of bladder with type-B ultrasonic, equal to or more than 150ml. Excluding the patients with prostatic hypertrophy, urinary calculi and the patients now or had been with severe heart diseases, urologic diseases and and hypertension. Divide the patients into two groups randomly, Control group and Treatment group with 52 patients each. Adjust the drugs of the two groups based on the previous treatment to get the blood glucose to a perfect condition and apply the normal treatment for them.Only with Mecobalamin to the Control group,Add Metoclopramide to the Treatment group. Using type-B ultrasonic measure the post-voiding residue of bladder, contrast the post-voiding residue and the decrease in post-voiding residue of the two groups.ResultsThe general condition of the two groups are with no statistical difference in contrast before treatment, the comparability exists. After the treatment, the post-voiding residue of the bladder of the Treatment group is much less than that of the Control group, the statistical significance exists. Treatment group is much better than the Control group in the decrease of the post-voiding residue of the bladder.ConclusionThe combination of Mecobalamin and Metoclopramide in curing DNB is obviously effective. |
