Objective:Through the study of the old people′s knee osteoarthritis(KOA) from Shandong Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,to provide a more reasonable treatment of program about the treatment of the old people′s knee osteoarthritis(KOA). Methods:Analyse 60(72knees) cases with KOA in the outpatient service of Shandong Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2009 to June 2010 retrospectively. The subjects were randomly classified into three groups with 20 cases in every group. All of the cases were conservatively treated.The treatment comprise of the coalition of sodium hyaluronate and glucosamine hydrochloride and respectively use of the two drugs.To evaluate the clinical effect with standard for evaluation of Lequesne. Result:All cases evaluated by curative effect standard. Patients treated by different treatments had different scores of knee′s function(P﹤0.05). Patients treated by combination of sodium hyaluronate and glucosamine hydrochloride had much more higher difference scores than those by sodium hyaluronate or glucosamine hydrochloride alone(P﹤0.05). And the duration of producing and efficacy lasting of the combination are much better than the two other groups. Conclusions:Combination of sodium hyaluronate and glucosamine hydrochloride for the treatment of KOA is easy to operate and has a long duration of efficacy lasting and has little adverse reaction, it is an economic and practical treatment program about the treatment of the old people′s knee osteoarthritis(KOA)...
