In recent years, with the social development and improving people's lives, indoor air pollution has become a public health hazard, one of the largest of the five environmental factors. Formaldehyde as a modern major component of indoor air pollution, its health hazards of people who have been people's attention. The immune system is an important function of body systems, responsible for the immune defense, immune surveillance and immune homeostasis functions. In immune function under normal circumstances, the immune system of "non-self" antigens rejection effect, to play a role in immune protection. However, in the case of immune dysfunction, immune response can cause the body tissue damage, resulting in allergic diseases. A large number of studies have shown that formaldehyde can cause damage to the body's multiple systems can be addressed to the organization through increased reactive oxygen species, lipid peroxidation and affect the body's immune system and the role of biological macromolecules so that the body damage occurred. Another research shows that Astragalus can enhance the body's non-specific immune function and enhance the body's resistance to prove it as a good immunomodulator. In this experiment, formaldehyde exposure through the creation of an artificial environment to study the movement of formaldehyde exposure in rats under the influence immune function, and after taking the role of Astragalus, is designed to further study the immune state of motion under the toxic effects of formaldehyde and its related mechanisms theory of reference, in order to enhance environmental protection, to protect people's health and to provide more scientific basis.In this study, selected Healthy male Whister pure line rats 64, according to the 1996 enactment of the "formaldehyde in indoor air health standards" under the living room and in public places, the maximum allowable concentration of formaldehyde in the standard 0.08mg/m3 and 0.12mg/m3 , respectively, as the concentration of 10 and 20 times (0.8mg/m3 and 2.4mg/m3) to create an artificial classâ… andâ…¡-level formaldehyde exposure ring, were randomly divided into 8 groups (quiet control group;â… grade formaldehyde quiet group ;â…¡grade formaldehyde quiet group; exercise control group;â… grade formaldehyde exercise group;â…¡grade formaldehyde exercise group;â… grade formaldehyde campaign dosing group;â…¡grade formaldehyde campaign dosing group) 8. Formaldehyde exposure in the exercise group that produced the exposure cabinet to 20m/min Treadmill Training, 30min / d, 6d / week, continuing for 4 weeks. Formaldehyde exposure treatment group during exercise treadmill 20m/min the training period, 1 hour after training every day gavage astragalus 7.2g/kg/d, once a day, a total of 24 days. The control group fed an equal volume of distilled water. The day after the end of the last week of training, were decapitated, were determined in each group rat spleen and thymus weight, white blood cells and its subsets, T-lymphocyte subsets (CD4, CD8, CD4/CD8), NK cells and immune globulin ( IgA, IgG, IgM).Results: 1. Formaldehyde inhalation can cause rat spleen, thymus factor decreases, as compared with the control group there was significant difference (P <0.05 or P <0.01). 2. With the formaldehyde exposure concentration increased, the rats showed white blood cells and its subsets in the first high to low content of the phenomenon, rather than the control group there was significant difference (P <0.05 or P <0.01); taking after Astragalus The index values are the positive aspects of development, strengthened immune white blood cells in rats. 3. With the increase of dose of formaldehyde, rat spleen, thymus, CD4, CD8 were significantly lower, CD4/CD8 were significantly increased compared with the control group there was significant difference (P <0.05 or P <0.01); taking Chinese medicines After the suppression of the astragalus caused by formaldehyde to stimulate T-cell subsets CD4, CD8 content decreased, CD4/CD8 ratio increased and improved cellular immune function. 4. Taking Astragalus can significantly ease the irritation due to formaldehyde toxicity in rat in vivo situation of reduction in NK cell levels, promoting NK cell activity, delayed the occurrence of immunosuppression. 5. Formaldehyde exposure can cause immune globulin in rats was reduced, compared with the control group there was significant difference (P <0.05 or P <0.01); taking astragalus root can significantly enhance the proliferation and differentiation of B lymphocytes the ability to improve the body immunosuppression.Conclusion: After 4 weeks of formaldehyde exposure training, formaldehyde exposure environment taking Astragalus can increase the immune function of rats to improve due to noxious stimulation caused by the decline in immune phenomena, thereby enhancing the body's ability to resist disease, enhance the body's immune function.
