Objects:SD rats were constructed by feeding with high lipid diet to form hyperlipoidemia model group, the liver was damaged at the same time. To study the effect of Oxalis corniculata L on blood-lipid metabolism of experimental hyperlipemia in rats and protective of liver function.Methods:Male SD rats were randomized into 6 equal groups, namely the normal control group, model group, Oxalis corniculata L low-dose group, Oxalis corniculata L moderate-dose group, Oxalis corniculata L high-dose group, simvastatin group. male SD rats were given fat rich diet for 4weeks,Then, simvastatin group 1mg/kg, corniculata L low-dose group1g/kg, corniculata L moderate-dose group 2g/kg, corniculata L high-dose group 3g/kg given the rats, the normal group and the model group were given same amount of saline, the animals were sacrificed after 4 weeks, separate the serum. Liver samples were observed. Detect the indexes as follows: The total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) and ALT ,AST in serum were measured,check Liversomatic index(LSI). SOD,MDA were also measured in the liver. Liver samples were observed with pathological method.Results:1,There were no significant difference among the six groups of TC, but The TC, LDL-C and apolipoprotein B levels of model group were notably higher than those of the normal group, The HDL-C and apolipoprotein A1 levels of model group were notably Less than those of the normal group, the levels of TC, LDL-C and apolipoprotein B in each intervention group was decreased, the effection of simvatatin was better than corniculata L. each dose group of corniculata L has raisen the concents of blood HDL-C, apo A1. the effect of corniculata L has correlated with dosage. especially in middle dose and high dose.2,MDA in model group increased and SOD decreased, after treatment of simvatatin and corniculata L, MDA in model group decreased and SOD increased, the effection of simvatatin was better than corniculata L.3,The level of AST in serum has no marked qualitative difference, the ALT and the liver index increased. after treatment the ALT and the liver index of corniculata L high dosage group, corniculata L middle dosage group decreased. There were no significant difference among the groups of simvatatin.4,In model group,the livers have Features of moderate and severe fatty livers. After treatment of corniculata L, the tatty degeneration of liver cells were decreased than model group. Especially in middle dose and high dose ,There were no significant difference among the groups of simvatatin.Conclusion:1,The corniculata L coud reduce the level of TC, LDL-C,MDA, Apo B, rise the level of HDL-C, SOD, ApoA1. These results suggest that The corniculata L coud reduce the level of Blood Lipid and have effects of antioxidation.2,The corniculata L can reduce the levels of AST and the index of liver, mitigate the degree of Fatty Degeneration. All of these show that the corniculata L has protective function for liver.3,The corniculata L is on the rise HDL-C and protect liver a better simvastatin has advantages in cholesterol-lowering (TC, LDL - C) aspects as simvastatin。4,The corniculata L is clearing away heat and toxic materialclass Chinese herbal medicine, after the experiment studies have suggested that certain lipid-lowering effect, therefore clearing away heat and toxic material class Chinese herbal medicine needs to be our further research and exploration.
