In this thesis, chemical constituents of Firmiana simplex,Stellera chamaejasmeL. had been studied. The compounds were isolated by means of silica gel column,short column chromatography by reduce pressure and recrystallization et al. The structuresof these compounds were determined by comparing with authentic samples andspectroscopic identification including IR, DEPT, 1~H-NMR, (13)~C-NMR, EI-MS. Fromthe Firmiana simplex, sixteen compounds were identified as:β-sitosterol(1), ursolicacid(2), 4-hydroxy-benzaldehyde(3), apigenin(4), oleanolic acid(5), 3β-D-glucopranosyl-β-sitosterol(6), 4′-methoxy-7-hydroxylflavone(7),α-balsaminasterol(8), 3β,7β,12β-trihydroxycholostane-24-ene(9), 6-methyl-dotriacontane(10), 7,4′-dihydroxylflavone(11), quercetin-3-O-α-L-galactoside(12), 5,4′-dihydroxyl-7-methoxyflavone(13), friedelano(14), 4-octadecenoic acid ester(15), dihydroapi-genin(16). Among of them,compounds (2), (3), (7), (8), (9), (11), (12), (13), (14) and (15) were obtained fromthis plant for the first time.We had also isolated four compounds from butanol of Stellera chamaejasme L.They are identified as: umbelliferone(1), umbelliferone-7-O-glu(2), acetylaucubin(3)and 6-xyl acetylaucubin(4).Besides, the essential oil from Firmiana platanifolia(L.F) was firstly extracted bysteam distillation and organic solvent respectively. The main components of the oilare hydrocarbon, alkenes, alcohols, esters, aldehydes and ketones, et al. The hightestcontent chemical constituents is hydrocarbon.In the first and fourth parts, the study survey of Firmiana simplex and Stellerachamaejasme were also summarized.
