Objective Contrast with gene expression profile in septic rats'hearts,in order to investigate preventive effect of Ulinastatin on regulation of gene expression in rats with late sepsis(24 hours) at gene level,so that to proclaim how UTI to protect from heartfailure secondary to sepsis.Methods Cecal ligation puncture was adopted to set up the model.45 Wistar rats were selected and randomly divided into septic group, UTI group and control group, which has 15.Observe its general condiction of every rat.Gene chips containing 22523 rat-genes cDNA was applied to detect and analyze variability of gene expression of heart tissue in rats which were pretreated by UTI an hour prior to the operation(UTI group)and which were without(septic group),then software to sieve the differentially expressive genes.Results The rats in septic group appeared high metabolic disorder and SIRS,etc. While the condition of rats in UTI group was eased.In 22523 genes of gene chip,there were 418 differentially expressive genes in septic group and 202 in UTI group.The function of these genes were mainly refferred to cellular signal transduction, metabolism,immunoresponse,insulin-like growth factor,cytoskeletal protein,ion channel and so on.Conclusion 1,UTI relieves heart tissue injury in rats with late sepsis and has some protective effect.2,Its protective mechanism may refer to cellular signal transduction,metabolism,chemotactic factor,insulin- like growth factor and so on.
