In our study on the chemical constituents b from tropical medicinal plants,18 compounds were isolated from the ethanol extract of the roots C. cochinchinense by DPPH free radical scavenging method. So far 10 compounds structures were elucidated by comparison of their physiccochemical properties with references and the means of spectroscopic method:Cochinchinone C (1),α-Mangostin (2), 1,3,7-Trihydroxyxanthone(3),β-Sitosterol (4), Stigmasterol (5), Stigmast-4-en-3-one (6),β-Mangostin (7), Pruniflorone G (8), Clionasterol (9), Friedelin (10).Compounds (4), (5), (6) and (9) were isolated from this plant for the first time.This is the first report of GC-MS of chemical constituents from the petroleum ether fraction of roots and stems, the volatile oil components the fruits of C. cochinchinense. The liposoluble chemical constituents from the petroleum ether extraction of roots.30 compounds were identified from petroleum ether extraction of roots, occupied the liposoluble chemical composition 53.139%.31 compounds were identified, occupied the liposoluble chemical composition 58.751%.The volatile oil chemical constituents of fruits,41 kinds of chemicals, amounting to 95.361% of the volatile chemical constituents, and the sesquiterpenoids were characterized 16 species, relative content amounting to 61.404%.Bioassay results showed the extracts antioxidant activity by DPPH free radical scavenging method:the crude extraction showed high antioxidant activity, and the compound 2 antioxidant activity than compound 7.The ethanol extract of roots and stems of C. cochinchinense were evaluated K562, SMMC, SGC-7901, cell lines in vitro by MTT method of anti-tumor activity. The results that ethanol extract and petroleum ether extraction of the roots showed cytotoxic activity. The ethyl acetate of roots and petroleum ether extraction of the stems showed cytotoxic activity toward SMMC.This thesis get a complete making of production method of Huang-niu tea process by described the experience of traditional folk. At the same time, tested the water extract of Huang-niu tea antioxidant activity by DPPH method, IC50 value of 75.
