Objective:To investigate the expression of Eph-B2 receptor in gastric cancer, investigate the association in expression of Eph-B2 receptor and the peritioneal metastasis in gastric cancer and other clinical pathological featuresMethods:1. The expression of Eph-B2 receptor was detected by immunohistochemistry S-P method in 20 cases of gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis,64 cases of of gastric cancer without peritoneal metastasis。2.SPSS statistical software program (version 13.0, SPSS, Inc.) was used for statistical analysis.Result:The expression of Eph-B2receptor in the gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis (95.0%) Significantly higher than those without peritoneal metastasis(73.4%) (P=0.040). The expression of Eph-B2 receptor in the gastric cancer, with age, gender, degree of tumor differentiation and histological type was not statistically significant relationship between(P>0.050). But, The expression of Eph-B2 receptor in the gastric cancer, with infiltration, pathological staging, lymph node metastasis and peritoneal metastasis was statistically significant relationship between(P<0.050). The expression of Eph-B2 receptor in the gastric cancer in stage of T1,T2 (0%,75.0%) significantly lower than the expression of Eph-B2 receptor in the gastric cancer in stage of T3,T4 (80.6%,90.9%), (P=0.004); The expression of Eph-B2 receptor in the gastric cancer in pathological stagings:stage I(25.0%),tageⅡ(70.8%) stageⅢ(82.8%),stageⅣ(90.5%), the expression of Eph-B2 receptor in the gastric cancer with pathological staging was statistically significant relationship between(P=0.020); The expression of Eph-B2 receptor in the gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis of gastric carcinoma (81.2%) was significantly higher than those without lymph node metastasis of gastric carcinoma (20.0%) (P=0.007).Conclusion:1. The expression of Eph-B2 receptor in the gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis was relationship between, Eph-B2 may be a marker of the peritioneal metastasis in gastric cancer. 2. The expression of Eph-B2 receptor increased with the depth of infiltration and pathological stage.
