Objective:1.To assess the safety and efficacy of Qingfei oral liquid in treating 166 cases of children with the syndrome of Phlegm and Heat Obstructing the Pulmonary of pediatric Respiratory Syncytial Virus Pneumonia.2. To give evidence of that ventilating the lung and resolving phlegm, detoxicating and invigorating the circulation of blood therapy is a fundamental method for treating children with the syndrome of Phlegm and Heat Obstructing the Pulmonary of pediatric Respiratory Syncytial Virus Pneumonia.Methods:332 cases of children that met the criterion of the syndrome of Phlegm and Heat Obstructing the Pulmonary of pediatric Respiratory Syncytial Virus Pneumonia were selected. All subjects were divided randomly into two groups, the test group (166 cases) and the controlled roup (166 cases). The test group was given Qingfei oral liquid, while the controlled group was infused ribavirin injection and oral placebo. The observing course was 10 days. Corresponding symptomatic treatment measures could be used when proposed etat coming. After that,we filled the case report forms and set up the Microsoft Access database system. The SPSS13.9was used for statistical analysis. Results:The cured cases of test group were 128(80%),the significant effective cases of test group were 31(23.81%).The cured cases of controlled group were 65(41.14%),the significant effective cases of controlled group were 65(41.14%).The effect of test group was much better than that of the controlled group. Compared with the controlled group, the indexes on test group of cough, sputum, auscultation on lung,X-ray of chest were much better. And the test group showed no side effect.Conclusion:1.Qingfei oral liquid is safe and effective in treating the syndrome of Phlegm and Heat Obstructing the Pulmonary of pediatric Respiratory Syncytial Virus Pneumonia.2.Ventilating the lung and resolving phlegm, detoxicating and invigorating the circulation of blood therapy is an effective and fundamental method for treating the syndrome of Phlegm and Heat Obstructing the Pulmonary of pediatric Respiratory Syncytial Virus Pneumonia.
