| Objective:To study the influence of Qingfei Oral Liquid on Serum Interleukin-8(IL-8) and soluble Intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1) in children with Respiratory Syncytial Viral Pneumonia, in order to prove the results of former cellular experiments and the effectiveness of Qingfei Oral Liquid in treating Respiratory Syncytial Viral Pneumonia through internal experiments.Methods:8cases of children with Respiratory Syncytial Viral Pneumonia were enrolled. Draw venous blood of the children and collect their blood serum before and after the treatment with Qingfei Oral Liquid respectively. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to measure the concentrations of serum IL-8and sICAM-1in the children. Statistic Package for Social Scicence17.0was used to analyze the data:Use t test to analyze the measurement data and use Paired-samples t test to analyze the the variation of the concentrations of serum IL-8and sICAM-1before and after the treatment.Results:The concentrations of serum IL-8were obviously decreased, while those of serum sICAM-1were dramatically increased compared with those before the treatment with Qingfei Oral Liquid. The the difference of IL-8had a statistical significance (P<0.05), and that of sICAM-1had a statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion:Qingfei Oral Liquid can decrease the expression level of serum IL-8, complying with the results of the former cellular experiments, and it can increase the expression level of serum sICAM-1, being different from the former experiments, which may be related with the difference between the external and internal experiments. The results show that Qingfei Oral Liquid can relieve the inflammation by decreasing the expression level of serum IL-8and increasing that of serum sICAM-1, which may be part of its mechanism. It proves that Qingfei Oral Liquid is effective in treating RSV pneumonia. |
