Objective:To observe the clinical effect of therapy with finger pressing on early postoperative rehabilitation of lumbar discetomy.Methods:Totally 69 cases of LIDP were randomly divided into two groups,in which 34 patients used finger pressing and functional exercise (as practise group) and the others used early rehabilitation exercises (as control group).The changes of clinical symptom and physical sign of two groups were analyzed pretherapy and post-treatment.Results:1.There was no remarkable difference between the experiment group and the contrasting group at the point of 3 months after the operation (p>0.05).2. There was remarkable difference between the two groups at the point of 6 months after the operation(p<0.05).3.Compared objective signs with the experiment group and the contrasting group,it is the result that the straight-leg testing,muscular strength,knock and hit aching of spine have a significance difference,the knee jerk,ankle jerk,obstacle of sense have no significance difference.4. The straight-leg testing,knock and hit aching of spine between the experiment group and the contrasting group have significance difference at the point of 3 months after the operation,6 months after the operation.Conclusions:1.There is certain therapeutic effect in early postoperative rehabilitation of lumbar discetomy with the finger pressing.2. The therapy with finger pressing on early postoperative rehabilitation of lumbar discetomy is feasible.
