CO₂ Laser Therapy With Ribavirin Injection Clinical Efficacy Of Treatment Of Warts

Objective:Through the flat wart, verruca vulgaris, and three kinds of virus, warts, plantar warts, the use of C02 laser with ribavirin in patients with acupoint injection for treatment, and treatment and recurrence for clinical observation. Analysis and discussion of mechanism of action of this treatment for this disease and provide a basis for clinical treatment to promote.Methods:All objects of this study were 2008.9-2009.12 during the Affiliated Hospital of Hubei Traditional Chinese Medicine Chinese medicine hospital in Hubei Province dermatologist and patient. The treatment of verruca plana, verruca vulgaris, and three kinds of patients with plantar warts, according to the order and voluntary principles are divided into A group (treatment group) and B (control group). A group of 43 cases in patients with verruca plana, B group of 35 cases; A group of 48 cases of patients with verruca vulgaris, B group of 42 cases; A group of patients with plantar warts,31 cases, B group of 28 cases. A group of all patients are first treated with CO2 laser physics, wound ointment for external use Pearl, point injection treatment with ribavirin, week 2-3 times, each time the election two symmetrical points, each point was injected lml of drugs,10 times for a course of treatment. B patients using only CO2 laser treatment, topical ointment Pearl. Compare observed during treatment and 3 months after the end of treatment telephone follow and carry out statistical analysis. Results:A group of 43 patients with verruca plana in patients cured 38cases of recurrence in 5 cases; B group of 35 patients recovered in 23 cases, recurrence in 12 cases. A group of 48 patients with verruca vulgaris,42 cases of recovery and recurrence in 6 cases; B group of 42 cases,29 cases recovered,13 cases of recurrence. A group of 31 patients with plantar warts cured 26 cases of recurrence in 5 cases; B group of 28 cases,18 cases were cured, 10 cases of recurrence. A group of patients with treatment, and recurrence was significantly higher than group B patients.Conclusions:In this study, comparisons of the approach. Comparison of clinical observation, the conduct of C02 laser treatment alone is not an effective cure flat wart, common warts and plantar warts, through joint ribavirin point injection therapy can play a significant treatment and prevent its recurrence. And clinical operation simple, the cost of cheap, results are obvious, is worth popularizing.
