Background:Flat wart is a chronic skin disease caused by human papilloma virus(HPV),and as Skin lesions are always located in the exposed parts, such as the face, the back of the hand, etc.they affect the beauty and often bring a lot of trouble to patients. At present, there are many methods to treat the disease, but there is no effective method. In spite of the treatment, the erythra may persist for many years,so it is an urgent need for more effective treatment.Cut the ear vein pricking bloodletting therapy is a traditional treatment method, can play the clinical curative effect through the mechanism of immune regulation. As an immune biological agent, interferons are widely used in the treatment of viral skin diseases and skin malignant tumors. They mainly have antiviral, immunomodulating and antiproliferative effects. At present, the two kinds of methods has been demonstrated benefits in the treatment of flat warts in clinical practices. But the combined application of cut the ear vein pricking bloodletting therapy with the intramuscular injectionin of terferons has less clinical researches. Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect and safty of ear vein cutting and pricking blood-letting therapy combined with recombinant human interferon α-2b intramuscular injection in the treatment of flat warts. Methods:From March 2014 to July 2015,54 patients with flat warts were collected from the Department of Dermatology, the second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University.Through the detailed collection of medical history, the clinical manifestations were recorded and the therapeutic effect was summarized.54 patients were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group and control group,27 cases in each group. There was no significant difference in gender, age, symptoms, signs and severity between the two groups, and they were comparable. The control group was using ear vein cutting and pricking blood-letting therapy,1 times a week, bilateral ear tip point bloodletting 1 times every times,4 weeks for a course of treatment. On the basis of the control group treatment plan, treatment group was added recombinant human interferon α-2b injection,3 million units, once every other day, intramuscular injection,4 weeks for a course of treatment. Two groups were treated with recombinant human interferon α-2b gel four times/day,applying to the affected area. After 4 weeks, the changes of skin lesions before and after treatment were observed and recorded adverse reactions, then followed up for six months to observe the recurrence of the erythra. The results was dealed with SPSS 17.0 statistical software, enumeration data was analyzed by Chi-square test and Fisher’s exact test,P<0.05 for the difference was statistically significant.Results:1.In the treatment group 19 cases(70.37%)was cured, markedly effective in 5 cases(18.52%),effective in 2 cases(7.41%),ineffective in 1 cases(3.7%),the total effective rate was 88.89%,1 cases of recurrence, the recurrence rate was 5.26%.In the control group 12 cases(44.44%)was cured, markedly effective in 5 cases(18.52%),effective in 6 cases(22.22%),ineffective in 4 cases(14.81%),the total effective rate was 62.96%,5 cases of recurrence, the recurrence rate was 41.7%,The total effective rate of the two groups was statistically significant(X2=4.964,P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05).2.In the treatment group, there wre 15 patients that had poor tolerance to interferon, and got flu like symptoms after the injection of the 1-3 needle. But most of them could get spontaneous remission,.If necessary, after taking antipyretic analgesics orally antipyretic analgesics, they could get remission.Ang no patients discontinued treatment. There were no other adverse reactions in the two groups. Conclusion:Ear vein cutting and pricking blood-letting therapy combined with recombinant human interferon α-2b intramuscular injection in the treatment of flat warts has simplicity of operator, less pain, and the exact effect, and can significantly improve the efficiency of treatment and reduce the recurrence rate.Although there are different degrees of adverse reactions in the clinical treatment, patients can tolerate. And it did not affect the follow-up treatment. So the method is safe, and it is worth of clinical application.
