| Purpose To observe the therapeutic efficaccy of somatostatin combined with compound salvia miltiorrhiza injection and raw Rhubarb on patients with Acute pancreatitis (AP).Methods1. Collection of the Guangzhou Military Region, Wuhan General Hospital Inpatient Gastroenterology June 2009 to February 2010,60 cases of acute pancreatitis patients, the general condition of patients, clinical symptoms, past medical history, disease etiology, diagnosis and treatment through such a detailed inquiries, investigations and recorded.2. According to the principles of randomized control groups were divided into control group and treatment group,30 cases in each group. In the normal control group, fasting, gastrointestinal decompression and other treatment, based on the first intravenous injection of somatostatin 250ug, and then add 3000ug use 500ml normal saline in order to 250ug/h speed through micro-vein pump and continuous intravenous infusion for 7-14d; treatment group based on the therapy in the control group, giving compound Danshen injection 20ml dissolved in 250ml of normal saline intravenously day 1, a continuous 7-14d, and to the rhubarb powder 30g, adding warm water (80℃above) 200ml Mix,2 times a day injected into the tube once a 3-5d. Observe and compare the two groups of patients with symptoms, abdominal signs disappeared time, blood, urine amylase, serum calcium concentration and the incidence of complications, mortality and length of stay.ResultsAfter treatment, serum amylase was significantly lower than the control group, while the serum calcium level was significantly higher, especially in 3d and 5d after treatment even more pronounced (P all "0.01), complication rate was significantly lower than the control group (P＜0.05), hospitalization time (P＜0.01).ConclusionOf somatostatin combined with compound Danshen injection, rhubarb AP more effective than somatostatin alone.
