The Clinical Study Of Sparc And Metastasis Of Osteosarcoma

Objective: To probe into the expression of SPARC in osteosarcoma tissue and the correlation with osteosarcoma- metastasis..Methods: Application of SP immunohistochemical method to detect SPARC in 60 cases of osteosarcoma tissues and its correlation with metastasis.Result: SPARC in osteosarcoma tissue was 70.0% (42/60). SPARC in osteosarcoma metastasis positive rate was 92.9% (13/14) and in non-metastasis positive rate was 63.0% (29/46). Throughχ~2 test, SPARC protein expression in different gender was no statistical difference (P> 0.05). In metastasis group SPARC protein expression was significantly correlated (P <0.05),and the higher level of SPARC protein expression, the greater the likelihood of distant metastasis.Conclusion: SPARC in osteosarcoma of the high level of expression could indicate the possibility of metastasis, Providing guidance for clinical diagnosis.
