| Objective:1,To investigate the correlation of the expression of c-myc in nonsmall cell lung cancer and its significance.2,To investigate the correlation of the expression of c-myc and the gender,smoking index,neoplasms categories and the differentiation level.Marerials and Methods:Collect 54 paraffin-embedded surgical resection of pathologically confirmed case include 42 non-small cell lung cancer specimens and 12 normal lung tissue from 2006 to 2008 of department of thoracic surgery of the 2th affiliated hospital of Nanchang University. The group consisted of 29 men and 13 women with a mean age of 62.8 years(range 41-76);it consisted of 18 people whose smoking index exceed 400 and 24 smoking index less than 400;it consisted of 26 cases of squamous-celled carcinoma and 16 cases of gland-cellde carcinoma;it consisted of 33 tissues of well and moderately differentiated and 9 tissues of poorly differentiated. All the patients were scavenged the lymph nodes,there were 25 cases of lymph node metastasis and 17 cases not metastasis.NSCLS carcinoma specimens were make up with 19 stage I-II,23 stage III cases according to the Lung Cancer TNM Staging Standards of UICC(International Union Against Cancer)in 2009.All the patients were not lined of preoperative anti-tumor therapies such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Detect the expression of C-myc by immunohistoochemical S-P method. Date were classified according to gender,smoking index,histological type,differentiated level,lymph node metastasis and clinical stage. The expression of c-myc in lung cancer and normal tissue was compared, respectively; and the correlation between expression of c-myc and several of clinical indexes was analysized.χ2 square was performed and P<0.05 has significance of difference. Results:1,The expression of c-myc in NSCLC tissue was significantly increased than in nomal lung tissue,which to be present the statistical significance(χ2=7.65,P<0.05).2,The expression of c-myc in NSCLC tissue have no correlation to gender,smoking index,histological type,differentiated level;which has significantly correlation to lymph node metastasin (χ2=8.58,P<0.05) and clinical stage (χ2=5.20,P<0.05).Conclsion:1,The expression of c-myc was increased in NSCLC tissue,which has relationships to the occurrence of NSCLC.2,The expression of c-myc has significantly correlation to lymph node metastasin and clinical stage of the patient of NSCLC . |
