Therapeutic Strategy Of Intracranial Arachnoid Cyst

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic strategy of intracranial arachnoid cyst (IAC) Methods:According to clinical performance ,CT scan and CT cisternograph (CTC ) ,we could determine the 48 cases of patients surgical indications. Results:26 cases carry out surgical treatment, while 22 cases carry out conservative treatment. In surgical treatment of 26 patients,we find that two cases are lost and the symptoms of 24 cases are released . In non-surgical treatment of 22 patients, six cases are lost; symptoms of six cases are improved ;ten cases are poor controlled by using drug. Conclusion:The patients who have a clear indication of surgical treatment undergo surgery. surgical indication was not obvious, but the results of CTC indicating NCIAC could be acted surgical treatment. CIAC ,unwilling to accept the CTC examination of non-obvious surgical indication, and refusing surgical treatment of patients carry out conservative treatment.
