| Objective: To study the correlation between serum uric acid and Coronary heart disease . Method: Selected 180 consecutive patients with Coronary artery disease(CAD) and 102 individuals with normal coronary angiography in January 1 ,2008 to September 30 ,2008 of Heart Center. Coronary artery disease also confirmed by coronary angiography. Severity of Coronary artery disease was evaluated using the CAD severity score index. Then CAD group can divide 1,2 and 3 groups according to the CAD severity score. Measured and compared the serum uric acid, diabetes, triglyceride, cholesterol, fibrinogen in patients of every groups. Results: The SUA level in CAD group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05);The SUA level in 3 and 2 score groups were higher than those in 1 score group(P<0.05); But the risk factors of CAD with multiple logistic regression analysis show:the SUA was not independently associated with CAD. Conclusion: The level of UA was positive relative to the severity degree of coronary artery lesion.but it was not independently associated with CAD. |
