| Objective: To analyse the clinical effect ofα-interferon and ganciclovir on treating infectious mononucleosis(IM).Method: eighty-two children with IM were divided into two groups at random and treated withα-interferon intramuscular(100wanU·d-1) and ganciclovir intravenously (10mg·kg-1·d-1) respectively, the effects of the two drugs were analysed.Results: the average duration of fever ,angina and hospitalization in the group with ganciclovir is shorter than that in the other one, while the excellence rate of ganciclovir group was 46.34% compelled with which ofα-interferon group was 24.39%,And the differences are significant.Conclusion: ganciclovir for children with IM is effective and safe, the effect of which is better thanα-interferon ,and it should be widespread. |
