J·Hillis·Miller is one of Yale Gang of Four, the deputy of U.S. deconstruction, his viewpoint of repetition is a major achievement in his academic research, in his book called "Fiction and repetition," he systematically expounded this unique point of view. As in this book Miller only use this concept to analysis the seven English novels, so he didn't know whether the view of this theory can be applied to other writers, or the other books from other times and other countries. This article described the viewpoint of repetition in detail and at the same time used this view to repeat the Chinese contemporary writer,Bi Feiyu, and try to interpret different meaning from Bi Feiyu.The first chapter is the detailed analysis of Miller's viewpoint of repetition; it can be divided into four sections. Section one describes the three types of repetition: the first one is small element at the duplication of speech; the second one is large event or scene's repetition in the text; the third one is the different works by the same author or different writers'works could have the phenomenon of repetition. Section two is the discussion of two forms of repetition: one is Platonic repetition, and the other is Nietzschean repetition. And in this part it will pointed out that the two forms of repetition are overlapping winding and interdependent, the rich meanings are just from the various combination of duplication . In section three it will indicate the origin of the viewpoint of repetition. In fact, Miller's theory of evolution impacts the viewpoint of repetition. In the formation of viewpoint of repetition New Criticism, criticism of consciousness and deconstruction are all important factors. In section four it analyzes the role of this concept in the process of reading texts: one is disruption and one is construction. This second chapter uses the viewpoint of repetition to try to analysis Bi Feiyu's works. In section one it pointed out the phenomenon of repetition in Bi Feiyu's notes, and draw the conclusions that such an attempt to use the viewpoint of repetition in his works can be done. In section two it divided the repetition into three parts, and analysis the repetition in two forms in section three by the example of Bi Feiyu's "that summer, that fall," and got a conclusion that arrive at a single meaning from read this text is incorrect, the rich meanings of the text exists in the combination of different forms of repetition. In section four it take the note of "corn" for example to analysis the same question in different works of Bi Feiyu's, and the question has no answers, it is only a repetition. In chapter three it will summaries and analysis the problems basis on the above writing, we find that use the viewpoint of repetition to analyze the works of Bi Feiyu did get some new interpretation, but this point of view can't interpret all of his works. Finally conclusion is that: Despite the theory has limits, but Miller's viewpoint of repetition tells us the world and the lives are just some repetition and some difference, the significance of the notes and the theory are all from them.
