Song is the heyday of the history of ancient prose, but Northern Song Dynasty is a critical stage in which Song prose was innovating and gradually forming the time style .After inheritance and transformation of the prose by writers of Northern Song Dynasty , the genre of "Narrative prose" has undergone considerable development, showing the changing face. Due to the Human environment, construction industry and development of the aesthetic attitude of literati, the leisure pavilions of the aesthetic qualities had caused the writers'general concern and became their important theme of narrative prose, then a large number of pavilions narrative prose output and formed a strange and beautiful literary landscape of the times. Northern Song Dynasty pavilions narrative prose is the most representative prose style of one of the genre, its development and evolution consistent with the overall development trend of the Northern Song prose , fully embodied the brilliant achievements of the Northern Song prose ,it can be also said to represent the highest level of ancient Chinese pavilions narrative prose.
