The Research On The Relationship Between Mt. Lu And Celebrities In Ming Dynasty

Situated in the southern part of Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, Lushan Mountain is a well-known scenic area which has a rich cultural heritage. Till the Ming Dynasty, Mt. Lushan's fame had supassed well beyond any time. This study is carried out primarily to investigate the scholars who had close relationship with Mt. Lu Shan in Ming Dynasty on the basis of the relevant literature. There are 573 people in this study. And we divide these people into three types. The first type of people are the famous experts in political and cultural fields in Ming Dynasty such as Liu Ji, Zhang Yu, Li Mengyang, etc. The second type of people are the important scholars in the cultural history of the Mt. Lu Shan in Ming Dynasty such as Sang Qiao. The third type of people are other scholars who had close relationship with Mt. Lu Shan in Ming Dynasty. These people were deeply attracted by Mt. Lu Shan, and played an important role in the spread of culture of Mt. Lu Shan. At last, the Buddhists and Taoists who had been to Mt. Lu Shan in Ming Dynasty were investigated.In a word, the research on the relationship between Mt. Lu and famous people in Ming Dynasty can not only record and describe the biography of these people comprehensively and detailed, but reflect the whole scale of the society deeply. From another perspective, when these famous people were all presented, the readers can more easily understand some things with similarity and regularity, and thus gain deep understanding of history.
