In this study, the author try to give a definition to"conceptual photography"on thebase of national scholars'opinion. Then analyses briefly the status and meaning ofconceptual photography in the field of photography and modern arts. On this basis, as themain body of this thesis, combining with some vivid photographic works of worksconceptual photography the author summarize and classify the main means of conceptualphotography. At the end of this thesis, the author proposed some personal thought andopinions about the characteristics and evaluation criteria of conceptual photography ,andAnalysis of the developmental trends in the future.
